Breaking: Obanla Appoints Ex-Kwara Commissioner Goke Bamidele Campaign DG

Chief Joseph Adewole Gbenga (Obanla), the Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the Ekiti/Isin/Irepodun/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, has appointed a former Kwara State Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Goke Bamidele, as Director-General of his Campaign Organisation.

The appointment was announced by the Chairman of Obanla Planning and Strategic Committee, Engr. Justus Sayo Amos.

Bamidele, a PDP chieftain and community leader from Odo-Owa, has held several public and political positions, including Youth Empowerment Coordinator in Oke-Ero Local Government and Commissioner for Agriculture. He also participated in the PDP primary election for the House of Representatives seat.

In his new role, Bamidele is expected to coordinate the campaign structure and provide strategic direction for its activities across Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-Ero local government areas.

His responsibilities will include supervising campaign committees and field operations, coordinating mobilisation and grassroots engagement, and facilitating interactions with party leaders, stakeholders and communities in conjunction with the candidate and other campaign officials.

Amos described the appointment as a recognition of Bamidele’s experience and commitment to the party, while wishing him success in his new responsibility.

He expressed confidence that Bamidele’s knowledge of the constituency and experience in public service and grassroots politics would be useful to the campaign.

Amos added that other members of the campaign organisation would be unveiled in due course.
