The Deputy President National Youth Council of Nigeria who double as the Coordinator of Afro-Arab Youth Council (AAYC), West Africa Region, Amb. Mukhtar Akoshile, has congratulated 9ja Parrot on its recognition as the Kwara Digital Media Platform of the Year.
Amb. Akoshile described the award as a significant recognition of the platform’s consistency, creativity, professionalism and contribution to the evolving digital media landscape in Kwara State. He noted that in an era where credible information and responsible digital communication are increasingly important, platforms that continue to create space for information, engagement and public discourse deserve commendation.
He further stated that the recognition is not merely an award but a reflection of the impact 9ja Parrot has made within the digital media ecosystem. He encouraged the platform to see the honour as a greater responsibility to uphold professionalism, credibility, innovation and responsible journalism while continuing to amplify issues that contribute meaningfully to the development of Kwara and Nigeria.
