The founder of JC Sam Foundation, Samson Tosin Ilufoye (JC Sam), on Wednesday, launched a Democracy Walk in honor of Kwara State Governor, HE AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq
The event, which took place in the Oyun local government area, was organized to appreciate the governor’s “unprecedented efforts” in office over the past five years.
According to Ilufoye, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the walk was aimed at acknowledging the governor’s achievements in infrastructure development, education, health, human capital development, youth inclusion, and gender equality.
“The governor’s outstanding performance has brought unprecedented development to Kwara State, and he rightly deserves our appreciation,” Ilufoye stated.
“The youth of the Oyun local government are deeply grateful for his impactful leadership and dedication to a prosperous Kwara”
In commemoration of the governor’s people-oriented policies, Ilufoye also donated cash support worth millions of Naira to at least 150 residents of the Oyun local government area. The donation was made through the Ajoje Micro Grant Empowerment, an initiative of the JC Sam Foundation.
Beneficiaries of the cash support included women, widows, and vulnerable persons in the society.
The event was attended by notable personalities, including the Development Officer of Oyun local government, APC state, local, and ward executives, as well as community leaders.
