President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has named renowned academic and All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart, Prof Oba Abdulraheem, as Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State.
The announcement was made in a statement issued on Friday by Nnamdi Mbaeri, Permanent Secretary (General Services) in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
A distinguished scholar and seasoned administrator, Prof Abdulraheem previously served as Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin and Chairman of the Federal Character Commission, Abuja. His appointment is seen as a significant boost to the university’s growth and development.
Hailing from Ilorin, Kwara State, Prof Abdulraheem brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role, poised to drive excellence and innovation at Federal University Dutse.
