The Honourable representing Irepodun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Honourable Shola Odetundun, has again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people within his Constituency.
At a meeting with members of his constituents, Hon. Odetundun distributed cash support between Ten Thousand to One Million Naira to individuals and groups including several widows, non-indigenes, aged, physically-challenged persons, youths, party and non-party members of the constituency.
The gesture was to be designed to complement the relentless efforts of the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulraman Abdulrasaq in making life and living more enjoyable for the populace.
Already, the Hon. The Odetundun-initiated project has well-taken-off with visits to three of the eleven Wards of the Local Government Area, namely, Ajase Ward One as well as the two Wards in the Oro metropolis.
Members of the three Wards visited so far are full of praises for the exemplary performances of the State Governor in the area of critical infrastructural development, citing the roads construction commencing from Ajase-Ipo to Okeya, and that of Oro to Arandun; Omu arun to Oko besides several educational and health interventions.
While speaking at the occasion, Honourable Odetundun expressed his gratitude to the constituents for their appreciative gesture, with assurance of more to come from the government of the APC at all levels. He went further to reiterate his commitment to the fulfillment of promises made during electioneering, such as to take the welfare of the people within the Constituency more seriously.
He restated the need for the people to come out and participate in the forthcoming Local Government elections, so as to permanently shut the house of the opposition down within the Local Government Area.
Emotional speeches characterized the meeting of the people with the Honourable.The constituents described the good gesture of their representative as exceptional and a total departure from the politics of use-and-dump strategies that some politicians are known for.

The Honourable declared that other Wards in the Local Government Area would soon play host to the event.
