The Kwara North chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Bashir Ashura, a seasoned media practitioner, to lead its new media team for the upcoming Local Government Elections. This development was confirmed by the party’s chairman, Alhaji Uthman Ndako Kpada.
In his statement, Alhaji Kpada expressed his trust in Bashir Ashura, citing his commitment to the party and its ideals. “We have reposed our trust in Bashir Ashura, a dedicated and passionate member of our party,” he said.
As the leader of the new media team, Bashir Ashura will oversee five new media representatives from the Local Governments of Edu, Patigi, Moro, Baruten, and Kaiama. His role will be crucial in shaping the party’s online presence and messaging during the election campaign.
Bashir Ashura, a native of Patigi, brings a wealth of experience in media and communications to his new role. He will work closely with the Kwara North PDP senatorial chairman to ensure the party’s message reaches a wider audience.
