Senator Oyelola Ashiru, Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial district, has announced plans to construct a modern youth recreation center in the Oro community, Irepodun Local Government Area.
During an interactive session with the Oloro-in-Council on Wednesday evening, Senator Ashiru emphasized the importance of the project in keeping youths productively engaged and reducing social vices in the area.
The proposed recreation center will feature two five-a-side pitches, an astroturf, a volleyball court, a pavilion, and other modern recreational facilities.
The Oloro-in-Council warmly welcomed the idea, appreciating Senator Ashiru’s efforts to promote youth development and community growth.
Senator Ashiru also directed his aides to install street lights at the Oro Central Market to curb insecurity and enhance business activities.
