The Kwara State Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu, has commended the state government’s Free Summer Coding and Digital Literacy Bootcamp, describing it as a transformative program that will equip young minds with essential digital skills.
During her visit to Queen Elizabeth School, one of the centers hosting the bootcamp, Hajia Kawu expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for approving the initiative and Hon. Ishola Kayode, the Special Assistant on Digital Innovations, for spearheading it.
The Commissioner assessed the students’ progress in the sixth week of the bootcamp and was impressed by their rapid acquisition of coding and digital literacy skills.
“This program is significant in preparing our students for the digital age,” Hajia Kawu said.
“I am confident that it will have a lasting impact on their lives and contribute to the development of a digital-savvy Kwara State.”, She added.
