Senator Ashiru Empowers Kwara South Youth With PCB Design Training




Deputy Senate Leader, Senator Oyelola Ashiru, has launched a groundbreaking initiative to equip Kwara South youth with highly sought-after skills in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design.

This innovative program, hosted at ONEIH in Offa, brings together 50 participants from seven local government areas across the Kwara South Senatorial district.


The training aims to empower participants with the technical expertise to design, assemble, and repair PCBs for individual and corporate clients. As climate-friendly buildings become increasingly prominent, PCB skills are emerging as a lucrative opportunity ². With this training, Kwara South youth will be able to collaborate with engineers to create 3D models of circuit boards, reducing reliance on external experts.


The training is aimed at creating employment opportunities for youth in Kwara South, equipped participants with in-demand skills to compete in the job market and boost  Kwara South’s economy through increased local expertise.
