Kwara State Governor, HE AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the reappointment of Engr Jimoh Abdul as the Rector, Kwara State Polytechnic for a second Term.
This development was confirmed in a statement issued by the institution PAR, Info Division, Halimat Garba.
The statement received by 9japarrot reads;
The Kwara State Government has approved the re- appointment of the Rector of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed for a second term in office.
The State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Mary Ronke Arinde announced this development in her office, while admonishing heads of Tertiary institutions on the need for enhanced service delivery, considering the present administration’s huge investment in tertiary institutions of the State
Dr Arinde emphasized that Dr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed’s re- appointment was in recognition of his commitment, dedication and numerous achievements in driving the Kwara State Polytechnic to an enviable height.
The Commissioner, while congratulating the Rector, encouraged him to continue to display his vast wealth of experience in piloting the affairs of the Polytechnic.
Dr. Arinde also admonished the Rector to justify the confidence reposed in him, noting that the State Government under the leadership of Mallam AbduRahman Abdulrazaq is committed to enhanced service delivery in the tertiary education sector of the State.
The Rector in His appreciation message, thanked His Excellency, Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq for the trust and confidence he has in him.
He promised to continue to uphold the standards and goals set for the state by Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq’s administration by serving the students and the entire Polytechnic community to the best of his ability.
He added that he will continue to make significant strides in advancing educational excellence in the state.
Reacting to the news, the entire Polytechnic community felicitates with the Rector, stressing that they look forward to another term of progress and achievements under his guidance.
