••• Community Leaders Commend Initiative, Urges Others To Emulate
The Mubarak Opeyemi Lawal Impact Foundation (MOLIF) yesterday officially launched its Community Assistance and Relief Efforts (CARE) initiative, distributing food items to 50 households in the Pakata community of Ilorin as part of its commitment to uplifting the less privileged.
In his welcome address, Nafiu Toyin Abdulqadri, Director of Media and Publicity for MOLIF, emphasized the foundation’s vision to address challenges in education, healthcare, and economic empowerment within the community.
The Project Coordinator, Taofiq Alada added that MOLIF was established to provide support to vulnerable individuals, promote community development, and foster a culture of hope and resilience.
“Our founder, Mubarak Opeyemi Lawal, believes that everyone deserves access to basic necessities, regardless of their background.” He added.
Today we’re officially launching the distribution of food items to 50 beneficiaries carefully selected from different households, said Alada.
On his part, Alhaji Yusuf Amuda Ubandawaki, the Alangua Ubandawaki of Ilorin, commended the foundation’s efforts, describing the intervention as timely and essential.
“This initiative is a testament to Mubarak Opeyemi Lawal’s commitment to giving back to his community,” Ubandawaki said.
“We urge others to emulate this noble gesture.”
Mallam Umar Offa, Former President of the Pakata Development Association, praised MOLIF’s partnership with the association to enroll individuals in a health insurance scheme.
“Thanks to MOLIF, our community members now have access to quality healthcare,” Offa said.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Mubarak Opeyemi Lawal, praying for Allah’s guidance and protection.
“I’m so grateful for this support,” said Mrs. Aishat Ibrahim, a beneficiary. “The food items will go a long way in feeding my family.”
Another beneficiary, Mr. Yusuf Abdulrahman, added, “MOLIF’s gesture has restored our hope. We pray for the foundation’s continued success.”
“MOLIF’s care package has brought joy to our home. May Allah bless the founder.” said another beneficiary.
