The Agbamu Descendants Union (ADU) is set to host a free medical outreach for indigent people living in Agbamu and environs in Kwara State.
9japarrot media reports that the medical outreach will provide healthcare services to more than 1,000 individuals, including young people and the elderly, residing in the community and environs.
Confirming this development in a statement received by 9japarrot through the President of the association, Engr. Olalekan Balogun, the group said the outreach billed for December 27, 2024, will commence from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Agbamu General Hospital.
The community-oriented initiative aims to provide essential healthcare services to the residents of Agbamu and its environs.
Engr Balogun added that the outreach program will offer a wide range of free services, including:
•Free drug distribution
•Free eyeglass distribution
•Free sugar level testing, among others.
The ADU, recognizing the importance of accessible healthcare, has organized this event to alleviate the financial burden on the community and promote preventive healthcare, the group added.
