
Prof. Wale Sulaiman CON has reaffirmed his commitment to the All Progressive Congress (APC) party.
This development is seen as a major boost to President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda, which has been gaining momentum across the country.
Speaking at a solidarity meeting with Kwara South APC chieftains and party faithfuls, Prof. Sulaiman emphasized the importance of unity within the party.
The Renowned Neurosurgeon stressed that unity is essential at all levels, from ward to national, and encouraged party members to nurture and support the party structure.
Commending the Strategic achievements of Kwara Governor, Gov AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Sulaiman added the Governor is doing well enough, it is necessary that all stakeholders step up to support him and today’s gathering is a confirmation that we’re all on the same page.
Our correspondent reports that the meeting, held at Garden Image, Esie Museum, Irepodun Local Government Area, was attended by notable APC members and personalities, including Prince Shuaib, Hon. Segun Awogbade, Alhaji Khaleel Bolaji, Hon. Yemi Olabanji, and the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA), Hon. Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo.
In his remarks, Alhaji Khaleel Bolaji, a former Chieftain of the SDP reaffirmed his membership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) party while describing Prof Wale Sulaiman CON as a valuable asset to the progressive folds. He also encouraged party members to work together to ensure APC dominates Kwara South.
On his part, a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kwara South, Prince Shofab noted that the gathering has dispelled all rumors that Prof. Wale Sulaiman is no longer with APC.
“We’re glad he is fully back, It is now our duty to encourage our people to ensure APC dominates Kwara South, making it the only viable option for voters.” He said.
Hon. Yemi Olabanji, APC Kwara South Senatorial Chairman, praised Prof. Sulaiman’s leadership and commitment to the party.

Stating that the party is delighted to have Prof. Sulaiman back in the fold.
“His wealth of experience and expertise will be invaluable in our quest to strengthen the party in Kwara South.” He said.
The Representative of Senator Oyelola Ashiru, Aare Olu Adeoti also welcomed Prof. Sulaiman back to the party, describing him as a “global recognized person” and a “plus to us.”
9japparot reports that Prof. Sulaiman, appointed by President Tinubu as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Medical Sciences, Ila-Orangun, has reaffirmed his commitment to the APC. This move aims to dispel circulating rumors that he had left the party.
With this development, the APC is poised to strengthen its presence in Kwara South, and Prof. Sulaiman’s leadership is expected to play a key role in this effort.
Present at the gathering were Elder Stakeholders; Alhaji AbdulKarim Oladipo Kadiri, Dr. Ibrahim Ayanda,Alhaji Bakare (Offa),Alhaji Wara (ajasse-ipo), Hon. Dipo Owoseni. Others are Hon. Yemi Aransiola (Irepodun), Hon. Shilo Awobimpe (Ifelodun), Hon. Mathew Afolayan (Ekiti), Taiye Olaniyi (Oyun) who were former Chairmen under the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Also in attendance are former SDP House of Assembly candidates; Hon. Teslim Sani Aba Balogun, Hon. Femi Gbajumo, Toba Adebayo, Hon. Saheed Idowu Olomoh, Hon. John Adegboye, and delegation from the PWS Youth BoT lead by Comr. Rotimi Babatunde, Amb. Sodiq O. Boladale, Former SDP women leaders from Offa and Oke-Ero LGA.
