Senator Ashiru Kicks Off New Infrastructural Projects Across Kwara South

The Deputy Senate Leader, Senator Oyelola Yisa Ashiru, representing Kwara South Senatorial District, has directed his technical team to commence construction activities across various communities in the district. This initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians through infrastructure development and other key projects.

The technical team of the senator led by QS Omuiyadun Hammed disclosed this during the site handling over to the contractors in Iloffa and Osi the headquarters of Oke-ero and Ekiti local government respectively.

In Iloffa, an industrial hub will be created for the teaming youth of the community with construction of ICT Centre and Skill acquisition centre. Also in Osi, the headquarters of Ekiti LG will benefit from the construction of skill acquisition Centre and upgrade and modernization of Osi motor parks with supporting facilities like public toilets, car wash spot, solar powered electrification among others.

As an Architect of repute and Environmental Design enthusiast, Senator Ashiru prioritizes infrastructure development to uplift community character and ideology. The scope of community Projects include:

– Road construction and erosion control
– Skill acquisition centers
– Sports facilities
– Rural electrification
– Agro-markets
– Cultural centers
– Modernized motor parks
– Ultra-modern STEM classrooms
-Maternity health centres
-Provision of affordable water among others

Communities such as Igbaja, Oke-Ôde, Óró-Ago, Ajase, Lamodi, Bintinlaye, Bolohunduro, Erinle, Omupo, Sakosi/Asaba, Omupo, Ilemona, Isanlu-Isin, Pamon-Isin, Ekanmeje, Sanmora, ijan, Shaare, Kajola, Esie, Omu-Aran among others will benefit from these projects, showcasing the senator’s commitment to transforming Kwara South
