In an effort to facilitate the smooth start of academic activities at the newly-established Federal University of Health Sciences in Katsina, Governor Dikko Radda has approved the temporary use of Government Technical College Funtua as a site for the specialized federal institution. Radda called on the people of the area to provide their support and cooperation to ensure the successful launch of the institution.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Katsina Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, stated that Governor Radda made this announcement while distributing vehicles and 12,700 bags of fertilizers to farmers and members of vigilante groups in Funtua Zone. These items were donated by Senator Muntari Dandutse, the representative of Funtua Senatorial District at the Senate.

During the event, Governor Dikko Radda explained that the release of the Funtua Technical School was to allow for the immediate start of academic programs at the new federal university.

He also expressed gratitude to Senator Dandutse for his donation, emphasizing the importance of elected representatives working to improve the lives of the people.

Governor Radda further highlighted his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare and safety of Katsina citizens and residents.
