Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, Founder of ENACT and a Member of the Board of Trustees of TETFund, has extended his felicitations to the Kwara State contingent following the successful and hitch-free completion of the 2025 Hajj exercise.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Engr. Balogun expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the safe return of the pilgrims and lauded what he described as the smooth and seamless conduct of this year’s operation, attributing it to divine mercy, purposeful leadership, and dedicated coordination.
Engr. Adeyemi specifically commended His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, the Executive Governor of Kwara State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, for his foresight and exemplary leadership. He highlighted Governor AbdulRazaq’s choice of His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Ismail Yahya Alebiosu, the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, as the 2025 Amirul-Hajj, describing it as a strategic and effective appointment.
According to Balogun, Olupo’s leadership, marked by wisdom, spiritual depth, and commitment to community development, ensured that the welfare and spiritual needs of all 2,204 pilgrims from Kwara State were prioritized, leading to a peaceful and successful Hajj experience.
“We join all well-meaning Kwarans in celebrating HRH the Olupo for his outstanding performance and for bringing honor to the throne of Ajase-Ipo,” the statement read.
Engr. Balogun further praised Governor AbdulRazaq for creating an enabling environment and ensuring robust support systems for the pilgrims’ comfort and safety, affirming that the administration’s commitment to the spiritual and social welfare of Kwarans continues to shine.
The statement concluded with a prayer that Allah (SWT) accepts the Hajj as an act of Ibadah from all pilgrims, grants them Hajj Mabroor, and continues to guide the state’s leaders.
