Engr Nurudeen Begins Familiarisation Visit to North Central Institutions

The BOT Member representing North Central, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, has embarked on familiarisation visits to tertiary institutions within the geo-political zone. He visited Nasarawa State University, Keffi, to engage on growth initiatives and assess the impact of TETFund interventions in the Institution.

The visit marks a significant step towards identifying the critical needs of schools, evaluating distressed projects, unaccessed funds, and other issues that hinder development in public tertiary institutions.

The management of the institution commended the giant strides of TETFund while acknowledging Engr. Nurudeen’s commitment to critical development since coming on board in 2024. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Saadatu Hassan Imam, stated that the Fund’s determination to ensure value for money has led to impressive successes and projects that justify the Fund’s existence.

Stressing further, the VC reiterated that TETFund has done a lot for the institution, equipping it with critical infrastructure and interventions that promote feasibility and global competitiveness.

Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi commended the leadership of the university. According to him, the university has made judicious use of its allocations over the years, with almost no issues across various intervention lines.

He further hinted that the Fund will continue to pursue initiatives that improve the quality of education in the country under the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He encouraged the institution to serve as a support base for the nation’s economy and broader development aspirations.
