
Personal assistant to Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola and a renowned political strategist, Hon. Ishola Olateju Olohungbebe, has formally announced his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
This development was confirmed in his resignation letter dated 8th July, 2025, where he announced that his resignation from the ruling party takes immediate effort.
In a letter seen by 9japarrot media and addressed to the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Omupo Ward, Ifelodun Local Government, Kwara State, Hon. Olohungbebe conveyed his decision.
The letter, dated July 8, 2025, simply stated,
“Please accept this letter as a formal notice of my resignation from the All Progressives Congress, effective July 8, 2025.”
While expressing appreciation for the opportunities and experiences gained as a party member, he chose to keep the reason for his departure confidential, in the letter.
“The reason for my resignation is personal, and I prefer to keep it confidential,” he stated in the letter.
Olohungbebe the 2023 House of representative candidate for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal constituency under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) hails from Omupo ward in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

His laudable initiatives cut across the state, empowerment projects, skill acquisition drive, scholarship, financial facility for the people.
The Omupo-born politician further revealed that his move to the ADC is not a solitary one. He stated that thousands of his followers will be joining him, all committed to working unrelentingly for the success of the new coalition party in the 2027 elections.
