The All Progressives Youth Forum (APYF), Kwara North Senatorial District, has commended the Senator representing Kwara North and Chairman of the Senate Committees on Rules and Business as well as Trade and Investment, Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar (3SU), for organizing a transformative mentorship programme.
The recently concluded mentorship programme, which brought together participants from all sixteen local government areas of Kwara State, was described as a timely and impactful initiative by the Kwara North Senatorial Coordinator of APYF, Mohammed Baba.
According to Baba, the programme represents a groundbreaking leadership initiative—not just for Kwara North but for the entire state. He praised Senator Sadiq for his foresight and commitment to youth development through such innovative platforms.
“This mentorship programme is a well-thought-out and commendable development. It has equipped participants with critical skills to thrive in a competitive global environment,” Baba said. “It also offered them opportunities to explore creativity, build networks, and collaborate on initiatives that can drive personal and community development.”
He further encouraged the beneficiaries to make the most of the knowledge and skills acquired during the programme.
The APYF Coordinator also urged Senator Sadiq to sustain his people-oriented leadership, noting that his efforts continue to make the people of Kwara North proud.
