Popular grassroots mobilizer and development advocate, Ambassador Segun Ege, has been unanimously appointed as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Leader for Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The appointment, which was made on Saturday, will see Ege and other new executives lead the affairs of the party for the next four years.
Segun Ege, well-known for his strong advocacy for good governance and community development within the local government, following his appointment took to his social media page to express his gratitude to the party.
He stated that the trust placed in him to carry out such a crucial task has reinforced his belief that the party values the loyalty of its members.
In a post obtained by 9japarrot Media, he wrote, “To God be the glory, PDP Osi Ward I and II, Ekiti LG and Kwara PDP said, Amb Abiodun Segun Ege you’re the PDP Ekiti LG youth leader for the next four years.”
He concluded his post by praying for the strength to deliver on his new responsibilities and beyond, using the party’s slogan, “Truly, Power To The People!”
