The University of Ilorin has officially commenced its 2025 recruitment exercise, inviting applications for various academic, administrative, and technical positions.

The announcement was made on Monday via the institution’s official social media platforms, directing prospective candidates to visit the university’s website for full details.

According to the university, the recruitment is aimed at strengthening its workforce across multiple departments. Academic roles are a major focus, with vacancies for Professors, Associate Professors, and Lecturers in diverse disciplines. The university emphasized its commitment to attracting top talent to support its academic excellence.

In addition to academic staff, the institution is also seeking qualified individuals for key administrative positions. Roles such as Administrative Officer and Executive Officer are among the openings, with the university noting that it values dedicated professionals to enhance its internal operations.

“Technical positions are also available, particularly in IT and related support services,” the university noted that candidates applying for technical roles will be required to undergo a computer proficiency test as part of the selection process.

Applicants have been advised to thoroughly review the specific job requirements and qualifications listed on the university’s official recruitment portal before submitting their applications. The recruitment is part of broader efforts to reposition the university as it marks a significant milestone.

The hiring drive coincides with UNILORIN’s ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations. While the main events are scheduled for November 23 to 28, 2025, the university has already held several commemorative activities, including a July 16 ceremony honoring 65 distinguished individuals and a billboard unveiling earlier in January.
