
The Board Member representing North Central on the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFund, Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi has commended Kwara State University (KWASU) for sustaining an outstanding track record in managing TETFund-sponsored projects.
Engineer Adeyemi stated this during an official visit to KWASU campus in Malete on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
He stated that it was part of the Board’s oversight responsibilities to ensure proper use of allocated funds, describing KWASU as one of the best universities in TETFund projects execution and accountability.


Engineer Adeyemi was received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Moshood Mahmood Jimba, who stood in for the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh.
Professor Jimba thanked TETFund for its unwavering support in driving infrastructural development at KWASU, reaffirming the University’s commitment to transparency and excellence.
The TETFund delegation was later taken on a tour of completed and ongoing projects funded by the agency across the campus.
