Amofin Titilope Akogun, a renowned legal practitioner and an aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives (Irepodun, Ekiti, Isin and Oke Ero Federal Constituency), has warmly welcomed Hon. Prince Saheed Popoola following his official defection to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State.

He emphasized that Hon. Popoola’s wealth of experience, leadership qualities, and commitment to service will further enrich the party’s vision for inclusive governance and sustainable development in Kwara.
Akogun noted that the Grassroots appeal, wealth of experience and political goodwill Popoola brings on board is a prized asset for our dear party, at a time the party is in its rebuilding and consolidation stage, and Offa Local Government having shown their undying love for the PDP in the last Local Government elections, is a signal of good things to come in 2027.
