Odun Omu-Aran 2025: Odetundun Felicitates Olomu, Praises Unity and Progress

Hon. Shola Odetundun, Member representing Irepodun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, has extended warm felicitations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulraheem Oladele Adeoti, AGBOLUAJE (Olomu Efon II), the Olomu of Omu-Aran, and the entire sons and daughters of Omu-Aran on the occasion of Odun Omu-Aran 2025.

In a goodwill message released to mark the annual celebration, Hon. Odetundun described Odun Omu-Aran as a significant cultural festival that symbolizes unity, pride, and the rich heritage of the Omu-Aran people, while also serving as a rallying point for collective progress and development.

The lawmaker commended His Royal Majesty for his exemplary, peaceful, and development-driven leadership, noting that the reign of Oba AGBOLUAJE (Olomu Efon II) has continued to foster harmony, stability, and steady growth across Omu-Aran and its environs.

Hon. Odetundun also lauded the efforts of Omu-Aran sons and daughters, home and abroad, as well as the various development associations, for their commitment to community building and support for the traditional institution in advancing the city’s socio-economic development.

According to him, the strong collaboration between the Olomu-in-Council, community leaders, and stakeholders has continued to place Omu-Aran on a progressive path marked by infrastructural development, cultural preservation, and communal unity.

He prayed for Almighty God to grant His Royal Majesty long life, sound health, and continued wisdom, while wishing the good people of Omu-Aran a peaceful, joyous, and successful celebration of Odun Omu-Aran 2025.
