The BTA Foundation launched her Education Tree(Igi Iwe) 2026 scheme with much ado and excitement as it seeks to ignite a structural educational empowerment of his people.
The Igi Iwe Scheme had been sustained since 2017, empowering over 383 with educational scholarships till date.
The 2026 scheme which is poised to sponsor 500 Jambites, grant scholarships to students who score above 300 in Jamb and aspiring to gain admission to tertiary institutions.
It also seeks to distribute over 5000 educational materials to pupils in Irepodun, Ekiti, Isin and Oke Ero Local Government Areas of Kwara South.
The Foundation had reached out to critical educational stakeholders, community leaders, schools, Youth Associations for recommendations of bright but indigent students. An online platform was as well created for the public to apply.
Successful applicants will begin to get a text message between 15th February, 2025 and 17th February 2026. Anyone who has not received our text message by then might not have been selected in this edition.
Successful Applicants will be contacted for guidance and counselling on Choice of Course to be studied to align with 21st century career and job search industry requirements.
The Foundation President, Amofin Joseph Titilope Akogun had assured that applicants will not only get Free Jamb forms, but counsellors support that will shape their future. This is the the real concept of the *Education Tree(Igi Iwe)*.
Applicants are kindly requested to observe the following itinerary of activities going forward.
15th – 17th February:
Sending successful Applicants SMS to commence their registration.
18th February:
Counselling of Applicants, Orientation, and Commencement of Full Jamb Registration.
Those that got our application forms must have submitted them at the designated locations.
