Thomas Adewumi University Launches 12-Month MPH Program to Boost Public Health Leadership

Thomas Adewumi University (TAU), Oko-Irese, Kwara State, has unveiled a Master of Public Health (MPH) program designed to develop the next generation of public health leaders in Nigeria.

The one-year program promises a blend of academic rigor, hands-on research experience, and global exposure for students passionate about transforming health outcomes in their communities.

Speaking on the program, the Vice Chancellor said, “Our MPH program is tailored to equip students with practical skills and research capabilities needed to tackle Nigeria’s public health challenges. The university emphasized that students will benefit from mentorship by experienced faculty and opportunities to engage in applied research projects. Tuition for the 12-month course is ₦500,000, making it accessible to aspiring public health professionals nationwide.
