In the true spirit of Ramadan, the Al-Khalifa Humanitarian & Community Initiatives Foundation has commenced the distribution of food palliatives to elderly and vulnerable residents across several communities, reaffirming its commitment to compassion and community service.
The outreach, carried out under the Foundation’s Ramadan Food Drive, benefited elderly individuals in Oja Oba, Idi-Ape, Ipata Market, Gambari, Ile-Films, and the Unity Area. Essential food items and groceries were distributed to ensure that beneficiaries can observe the holy month with dignity and without the burden of food insecurity.
The initiative is part of the Foundation’s broader mission to support vulnerable individuals who struggle to access basic necessities, especially during significant periods like Ramadan. Volunteers and supporters joined hands to ensure the smooth distribution of items, bringing relief and smiles to many households.
Speaking during the exercise, the Director General, Amb. Bello Uthman Salaty, emphasized that the Foundation remains dedicated to uplifting the less privileged and fostering a culture of giving within the community. He called on well-meaning individuals, businesses, and organizations to continue supporting the initiative through donations of food items, funds, or volunteer time.

According to him, every act of generosity contributes to building a stronger and more compassionate society. He noted that the Foundation will continue to expand its humanitarian efforts to reach more communities in need.
The Ramadan Food Drive stands as a testament to the power of unity, kindness, and collective responsibility in making a meaningful difference.
