Engr Nurudeen Adeyemi Hails Kwara Gov Over Elevation of Elesie, 9 Others to First Class Status

Prominent Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Senatorial hopeful, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, has expressed profound joy over the official elevation of ten (10) revered monarchs to First-Class status.

In a statement released through the ENACT Media Team on Friday, Engr. Adeyemi lauded the elevation as a well-deserved recognition of the monarchs’ roles as peacebuilders and custodians of the rich cultural heritage across the Ibolo, Igbomina, and Ekiti axes of the Senatorial District.

Engr. Adeyemi specifically congratulated His Majesty, Oba Yakubu Babalola, the Elesie of Esie Kingdom, alongside nine other distinguished traditional rulers. He noted that the promotion is a spiritual and social victory that many had considered an unreachable ceiling for decades.

“This achievement for our respective worthy Monarchs is a manifestation of decades-long struggles in promoting and safeguarding the cultural and social values of their kingdoms. It is absolutely joyful and soul-elevating to witness this uncommon recognition, honoring our revered Royal fathers with First-Class emblems in Kwara South,” the statement read.

The Senatorial hopeful highlighted that the elevated status would further motivate the monarchs to unify the sons and daughters of Kwara South for collective development.

The recognized monarchs include:
* The Elesie of Esie (Irepodun)
* The Onijagbo of Ijagbo (Oyun)
* The Onipe of Ipee (Oyun)
* The Oloota of Odo-Owa (Oke-Ero)
* The Elekan of Ekan (Oke-Ero)
* The Olojoku of Ojoku (Oyun)
* The Oloro of Oro (Irepodun)
* The Owalobo of Obbo-Aiyegunle (Ekiti)
* The Olusin of Ijara-Isin (Isin)
* The Oba Jisunmade of Ayedun (Oke-Ero)

Engr. Adeyemi reserved high praise for His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON), for his courage and vision in breaking the long-standing barriers to these elevations.

“It is important to appreciate our Governor for this great honour done to us all in Kwara South. You have engraved your name and legacy on the rock of history for breaking what many considered a ceiling of possibilities,” he  added.

Speaking on behalf of the ENACT family both at home and in the diaspora, the engineer turned politician urged the people of Kwara South to match this royal elevation with physical development.

He encouraged indigenes to look homeward by investing in the future of their respective kingdoms to tackle modern challenges such as unemployment and infrastructure deficits.

“It is our sincere prayer that God Almighty increases our Royal fathers in wealth and health to enjoy this new status for the glory of our dear District,” the statement concluded.
