House of Representatives aspirant for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Hon. Akintade Shittu Abdulmutalib, is set to officially declare his intention to contest the 2027 election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
According to a statement issued by his media team on Friday, the declaration ceremony will hold on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Sofoluwe Hall, Offa Grammar School, beginning at 11am.
The statement noted that the event would bring together party leaders, political associates, supporters, youths, women groups, and stakeholders from across the constituency.
It added that the declaration would focus on the aspirant’s vision for purposeful representation, grassroots development, youth empowerment, and inclusive leadership for the people of Ifelodun, Offa, and Oyun local government areas.
The organisers said the programme would be held under the theme, “Afára Lánaá, Lónìí àti Lọ́la” (The Bridge of Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow).
The media team called on members of the public to attend the event and support what it described as a movement aimed at building a better future for the constituency.
