The National President of NACCIMA, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, led delegates for a strategic industrial tour of two major Chinese factories based in Guangzhou.
They are the Wanli Tire Corporation Limited and the Guangda Fashion World.
The industrial tour comes a day after the successful NACCIMA Business and Investment Forum, where the economic cooperation between Nigeria and China was further deepened, culminating significantly in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NACCIMA and CCOIC Guanghzou.
Wanli Tire Corporation Limited is a leading producer of tyres in China, with its parent company Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holding Group Co. Ltd. listed on the Fortune 500.
Wanli is renowned to be the largest factory for personal car radial production in the world, with a production capacity of 36 million PCR tyres annually.
Managers of the company conducted the NACCIMA President and his delegates round the facility while detailing their stage-by-stage production processes.
“We have gone round the facility, and all I can say is that Wanli is an important company here in Guangzhou. We thank the Consul-General Amb. Mairo Musa Abbas for facilitating our visit here. Our stay in Guangzhou wouldn’t have been complete without paying a visit to this strategic facility,” Engr. Jani Ibrahim said during a brief meeting with the company’s leadership.

The National President invited Wanli to extend their operational office to Nigeria, following their first decision to establish a branch in Cambodia.
He said NACCIMA would be ready to partner Wanli on navigating the Nigerian business environment, which will serve as a gateway to the entire African market.
Earlier, the delegates visited the expansive Guangda Fashion World, touring various sections of the market including the clothing stores, shoes stores, and leather stores, all of which had the presence of different prominent brands with quality products.
The National President said Nigeria must take a cue from the productive mindset of the Chinese people.
“The markets are clean, huge, and very well laid out. These are people who have decided to produce for the world. Nigeria must learn from this.
“In the first instance, Nigeria should begin immediately to produce for Africa. We should have a situation where other African countries can come to the big markets in Nigeria to buy wholesale and export to their countries. NACCIMA is championing this, and we are working very hard to see this as a reality very soon,” he noted.
The Consulate-General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Guangzhou facilitated the industrial tour, with the Consul-General Amb. Mairo Musa Abbas and later her representatives also joining the visits.
Prominent leaders of the Chamber on the tour were: President of CONSCCIMA and Chairman Nigeria Commodity Exchange Board, Alhaji Dalhatu Abubakar; NACCIMA China Relations Executive, Arc. Zakirudeen Oladotun; first Deputy President, Borno Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Alhaji Goni Dunoma; President of ILECCIMA, Mr. Peterson Timothy; a former President of Kwara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Mr. Fatai Ayodimeji; amongst others.
The visits provided firsthand insights into advanced manufacturing processes and key supply chains, reinforcing NACCIMA’s commitment to fostering industrial partnerships, technology transfer, and increased investment collaboration between Nigeria and China.
