A prominent contender for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency seat, Qs. Theophilus Ayo Apere, FNIQS has successfully scaled the screening exercise of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 primary elections.
The veteran quantity surveyor appeared before the APC Aspirant Screening Committee on Saturday, May 9, 2026, where he presented his credentials and outlined his legislative agenda for the three local government areas.
Speaking shortly after the exercise, Apere described the successful screening as a validation of his readiness to provide high-quality representation. He noted that his bid is rooted in a “People-First Agenda,” focusing on integrity and professional effectiveness.
“The successful conduct of my screening validates what our community already knows that I have the capacity to represent the people of Ifelodun/Oyun/Offa Federal Constituency with integrity, honesty, and effectiveness,” Apere said.
Apere, a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (FNIQS), is positioning himself as a candidate of professional excellence. His campaign has gained traction across the constituency due to his emphasis on Integrity and Accountability, Community Interest and Party Unity.
Expressing confidence in his eventual victory, Apere thanked his supporters for their steadfastness.
“My commitment to the People-First Agenda remains strong and unshaken. I am confident we will triumph in the interest of our people and the country at large,” he added.
