Victor Osimhen has dismissed rumours that he is planning to leave Galatasaray this summer.
The speculation arose after Eric Chelle suggested that Osimhen’s absence from Nigeria’s upcoming friendlies against Poland and Portugal might be related to a possible transfer.
However, Osimhen clarified on Instagram that Chelle’s comments were taken out of context and that the coach never intended to create controversy about his future.
He reaffirmed his respect for Chelle and urged fans to disregard transfer speculation linked to the coach’s remarks.
Despite ongoing reports linking him with clubs such as Manchester United, Osimhen did not indicate any immediate plans to leave Galatasaray.
The striker enjoyed another productive season, helping Galatasaray win the league title while contributing goals and assists in both domestic and European competitions.
