A prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and former Kwara State Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Olasumbo Florence Oyeyemi, has been appointed as the Kwara State Co-coordinator of the Tinubu Torch Bearers (TTB).
The appointment was officially conveyed in a letter dated July 6, 2026, through the Office of the Kwara State APC Women Leader, following a strong recognition of her unwavering commitment to grassroots mobilization and the advancement of progressive ideals within the state.
The Tinubu Torch Bearers (TTB) serves as a strategic national advocacy platform specifically structured to promote the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. The group is actively tasked with mobilizing women, youths, and critical voting structures across the federation, while projecting the infrastructure achievements and socio-economic policies of the administration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
This latest appointment heavily reinforces the political standing of Hon. Oyeyemi—who is actively driving the People’s New Voice agenda for the Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency as a trusted and highly experienced party strategist.
