Kwara State Government commenced on Wednesday the Citizens’ Engagement on the 2024 budget in Patigi LGA, Kwara North.
Governor AbdulRazaq introduced it in 2019 and it has become an annual budget process in the state.
It is being done to ensure citizens’ aspirations drive the budget process, deepen participatory democracy, and for govt deliver needs-based projects for the growth of the people and development of the state.
The sessions for Kwara South and Central will be held in Offa and Ilorin East LGAs respectively in the coming weeks.
