In a candid interaction with the Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners, Alhaji Adamu Attahiru Manko, SDP’s candidate for Kwara North Senatorial District in the 2023 elections, revealed the accidental nature of his political entry. Manko, son of the esteemed Alhaji Attahiru Manko, expressed his commitment to fostering societal growth and values, highlighting the pressing need for active participation in addressing societal challenges.

Manko, known for his philanthropy across Kwara states, emphasized his dedication to giving back, distinguishing his political motives from those driven solely by personal gain.

Addressing queries about his political future, he affirmed his loyalty to the SDP, stating, “I am still consulting.”

Manko, reflecting on the past election’s dynamics, emphasized his commitment to SDP and the people who supported the party.

Looking ahead to 2027, Manko left possibilities open, stating, “Anything can happen; 2027 is still far.” Acknowledging the challenges faced by Kwara state, he called for prayers and support for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, emphasizing the importance of unity across Kwara North, South, and Central for political fairness, justice, and equity.

Sharing insights from his political journey, Manko, as the first child of his family, drew inspiration from his father’s political legacy. He highlighted the importance of managing diverse personalities in politics with sincerity. As Kwara anticipates the unfolding political landscape, Manko’s entry promises a blend of experience, values, and a dedication to the welfare of the people.
