Excitement, Commendation As KWA~TRECO Beneficiaries Repairs Eyingbo Community Boreholes In Irepodun LG

The residents of Eyingbo in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State have heaved a sigh of relief after a borehole was repaired in their community by the beneficiaries of the Kwara Training, Repair, Empowerment, and Community Ownership (KWA-TRECO) program.

A resident named Mrs. Adeniyi Florence stated in a video that despite efforts made by her and other women to repair the borehole by contributing money, their attempts were unsuccessful. She also mentioned that the well water in the vicinity had run dry.

She therefore expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration for his people~oriented projects, noting that KWATRECO initiative is capable of boosting access to drinkable water in rural communities.

Since the launching of the KWATRECO, no fewer than eight Local Government Areas including Moro, Ilorin East, Asa, Ifelodun, Isin, among others have so far benefited from the project.
