Minister of Youth Development, Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahiim, reiterated President Bola Tinubu’s dedication to youth empowerment, as part of his Renewed Hope agenda.
During her remarks on Thursday in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital, Jamila praised President Tinubu for being a champion for young people, providing an environment and opportunities for their success.
Dr Jamila who marks her first homecoming to Kwara Sate yesterday months after her successful screening and confirmation as Youth Development affirms her preparedness to collaborate with the State Ministry of Youth Development with the goal to establish opportunities and a conducive atmosphere for the youth to thrive, in line with the vision of the youth-friendly projects initiated by Gov AbdulRazaq which is also in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s #RenewedHope mantra.
She announced the upcoming launch of the National Youth Development Bank, which will provide capital and market access for young entrepreneurs.
Jamila promised that the Ministry of Youth Development would implement impactful initiatives to improve the lives of Nigerian youths.
Prior to her speech, Jamila in company of the State Commissioner for Youths Development Hon Nafisat Musa Buge and Hon Damilola Yusuf Kwara, the State Commissioner for Business and Innovations visited the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari CFR, to seek his blessings.
Emir charges the Youth Minister to follow the good track records of her father who was a Former Sport Minister under Goodluck Jonathan’s tenure while admonishing her to uphold the trust bestowed on her by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
