On Wednesday, Otunba Biodun Ajiboye took up his position as the Director General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO).
Otunba who’s also the Muwagun of Oro Kingdom was warmly welcomed by the staff into his new role.
A few days ago, 9japarrot reported that Ajiboye alongside ten others were named as heads of various agencies across the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy last Friday by President Bola Tinubu.
Upon resumption, Otunba Ajiboye demonstrated his readiness for the responsibilities of his new role by starting a tour to become familiar with the agency.
In his robust engagement with top management staff of the agency, the new kid on the block gained valuable insights into the ongoing initiatives and cultural endeavors at the institute.
In the midst of the friendly atmosphere, Ajiboye respectfully requested the backing of the committed team, highlighting the significance of working together as a group to ensure the success of his term as the Chief Executive.

Addressing the staff, Otunba Ajiboye assured:
“The spirit of collaboration and enthusiasm will be the thrust of my leadership while also promising you all and the entire nation that henceforth, a promising tone of cultural renaissance has been set for the country. Together, we should be poised to champion cultural regeneration and advocacy in the rich tapestry of our dear nation.”
