The Chairman of Awliya Foundation, Alhaji Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal has felicitated Muslims on the completion of Ramadan and upon reaching the auspicious day of Eid-l-Fitr.
In his words: “I congratulate Muslim faithfuls on the successful completion of the sacred month of Ramadan, and for witnessing the auspicious occasion of Eid-l-Fitr. It is my prayers that we witness more of it on earth.
“This past month, regardless of the excruciating economy, we all witnessed a surge in charity and philanthropic efforts, I urge all Muslim faithfuls to maintain that spirit and continually be of great help to those around them.
The statement concluded with Lawal urging them to pray for the Nation. “With prayers and actions, let us jointly seek for a peaceful and prosperous Nation. May our great Nation be blessed beyond measure. Eid Mubarak!”
