The Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial district earlier today paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Senator Rafiu Ibrahim in Kwara State.
Senator Rafiu who represented Kwara South Senatorial district at the 8th Senate died in the early hours of Wednesday, 17th April 2024 after a brief illness.
The Lawmaker also joined the family of Kwara State Deputy Governor, Mr. Kayode Alabi, on the celebration of life and memory of their Matriarch, who passed on to glory on the 5th of April, 2024.
Senator Ashiru offered his condolences to the Deputy Governor and remarked that Mama had lived a purposeful and devoted life in service to God and humanity.
The Deputy Senate Leader also paid a visit to the family of the deceased Senator Rafiu Ibrahim to extend condolences, whose death came as a rude shock to all.
He stated that Senator Rafiu would be fondly remembered for his strong affection for the Ibolo kingdom and Kwara South in general.
Earlier, the Lawmaker had previously visited the Olojoku of Ojoku to offer condolences and sympathize with the kingdom over the demise of their distinguish and illustrious son.
He prayed for Allah to grant the departed soul Aljanat Firdaous and to forgive his shortcomings.
