The sector reasoned that, “we, in the culture sector should write our narrative by ourselves at this time. We need to promote and present our culture to the world; we must have adequate reportage of the industry as robust as it is”.

“The culture and creative sector can now buttress its prime intent of redirecting the defective and mistaken orientational understanding of culture by the general public. This magazine is intended to be the voice for the culture sector which is expected to cover the totality of cultural news reports and information throughout the country”, added the Executive Secretary of NICO.

The institute called on all Nigerians to join the team in the voyage of rediscovery that will change the narrative about the nation’s cultural heritage.
