Boost For Agriculture As Senator Saliu Mustapha Receives Bill To Revitalize Extension Services
The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Production Services, and Rural Development, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has received a draft bill aimed at revitalizing Nigeria’s agricultural extension services.
The bill, presented by the Women Farmers’ Advancement Network (WOFAN), seeks to enhance the country’s agricultural sector, which has been in a state of disrepair.
Senator Mustapha, who represents Kwara Central Senatorial District, praised WOFAN’s efforts and emphasized the bill’s importance in supporting farmers, particularly women, who play a vital role in the agricultural community.
The proposed legislation aims to improve knowledge sharing, farming practices, and agricultural productivity, ultimately boosting food security in Nigeria.
