Oyinbo Farmer: BTA Foundation Set To Train 101 Beneficiaries In Innovative Agricultural Scheme

In a bid to tackle the scourge of unemployment and promote agricultural productivity, the BTA Foundation is launching an innovative agricultural scheme tagged “Oyinbo Farmer” today, Sunday, July 7, 2024.

The scheme, aimed at empowering 101 beneficiaries in the Kwara South Senatorial District, will provide a one-week intensive training program to enhance agriculture productivity, business, yield, and income among the participants.

According to the foundation, the initiative is designed to make the beneficiaries self-sufficient and reliant, thereby contributing to the economic growth of the state.

The launch of the Oyinbo Farmer scheme is a timely intervention in an era of mass unemployment, where many young people and middle-aged women lack the skills to create viable businesses that guarantee financial stability.

While some individuals complain of a lack of start-up capital, the BTA Foundation is taking a bold step to address this challenge by providing the necessary training and support for the beneficiaries to succeed in agriculture.

The training program promises to be a life-changing experience for the participants, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the agricultural sector.

With the launch of the Oyinbo Farmer scheme, the BTA Foundation is demonstrating its commitment to sustainable development and poverty reduction in Kwara State.
