The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate for Irepodun Local Government, Hon. Yakubu Azeez, has praised the inspirational leadership of Asiwaju of Oko Irese, Dr. JBO Adewumi, during a thank you visit to his residence.
Azeez, accompanied by APC Chieftain Oloriewe Raheem Adedoyin and member representing Irepodun LGA in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Shola Odetundun, expressed gratitude for Asiwaju’s support during the APC primaries.
Dr. Adewumi, Chancellor of Kwara State University and Founder of Thomas Adewumi University, congratulated Azeez on his victory and advised him to prioritize rural development and accountability in his administration.
Azeez, a former vice chairman and party chairman in Irepodun LGA, promised to unveil his development agenda soon. The visit strengthens Azeez’s commitment to inclusive leadership and development in Irepodun Local Government.
