Developmental Drive: Senator Ashiru Commences Road Grading In Obatiwajoye/Asalofa Ahead Asphalt Laying

 

Senator Lola Ashiru, Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial district, has commenced the final grading of the Obatiwajoye/Asalofa road in Offa, Kwara State, paving the way for the priming and asphalt laying phases.

This milestone project is the latest in a series of infrastructure developments championed by Senator Ashiru, aimed at enhancing connectivity and quality of life in the region.

The completion of the Popo/IgiNsogba/Ikolaba road project and the rehabilitation of the Gbomi Bridge, which connects Offa and Oyun local government areas, have already made a significant impact on the community. The bridge, once a safety concern, was restored to a safe and passable condition within 24 hours, thanks to Senator Ashiru’s prompt intervention.

In March 2024, Senator Ashiru unveiled plans to construct new roads in Omu-Aran city, Irepodun Local Government, Kwara South. The proposed roads, including Adodo Junction/OreMeji street/Ekan Garage and Latinwo market/Edidi road, will significantly enhance connectivity and accessibility within the city.
