Amofin Titilope Akogun, President of the BTA Foundation, has paid tribute to the late Chief Aromu of Okore, Omu Aran, who passed away recently.
In a statement, Amofin Akogun described Chief Aromu as a “pillar of the community” and a “compassionate father figure” who dedicated his life to the growth and progress of the people.
“I am deeply saddened by the sudden and untimely passing of Chief Aromu, a pillar of our community. He was a compassionate father figure, a dedicated community leader, and a champion of development in Okore Compound and Omu Aran Community.” the statement reads.
“His genuine passion and selfless dedication to the growth and progress of our people will be greatly missed. The news of his passing remains a shock, and his absence will be deeply felt” He added.
May his legacy live on, and may his memory continue to inspire us to strive for a better future for our community. Rest in peace, Chief Aromu, Akogun prayed.
