The entire People of Irepodun Local Government have been called upon to vote en mass for All Progressives Party candidate in the coming Local Government election and ensure victory for all the candidates, for the grassroots to experience a new down and good people of Irepodun to enjoy dividend of democracy.
The chairmanship candidate of All Progressives Congress, Hon Azeez Yakub made the call at a prayer session organised for him by Omu-Aran Wards 1, 2 and 3 in Omu-Aran, the Headquarters of Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, held at Azeez Yakub Campaign Office, GRA, Omu-Aran, in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Hon. Azeez charged all his party supporters to go to their different wards to vote at the forth coming Local Government election, canvassing “one man, one vote, to ensure victory for him and his co travellers after the polls, with a promise to operate and open door policy and assured the people of an all inclusive government at the grassroots, fairness, justice and equity, “as I am the man for the job and will surely deliver, for all to enjoy dividend of democracy.
“At this juncture, I thank our Leader and peoples Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the State APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, for their supports at all times, I promise to justify the confidence reposed in me by complementing this administration’s efforts, to take Kwara State to greater heights.”
Also, a member representing Irepodun Local Government, in Kwara State House of Assembly Hon. Sola Odetundun, reiterated the call for deep and wide mobilisation of votes, towards the party’s landmark victory, for the overall development of the Local Government.
In the same vein, the Irepodun APC Acting Chairperson, Hajjia Rasheedat Raheem charged party members, especially the women, to vote massively for Hon. Azeez Yakub, as well as all the Coucilors under the canopy of APC in the oncoming local government election, scheduled for Saturday 21st September, 2024.
In his speech, one of the political juggernauts and party Elders in Irepodun, Major Gen. Yemi Abidoye who commended the women for their turnout, charged all intending Councilors at the gathering to mobilize voters from grassroots, so as to ensure landslide victory, at the coming election.
One of the party Leaders and Director of Admin/Secretariat of the Campaign Council, Chief Raphael Awotunde in his remarks, encouraged all party members, to mobilize for massive votes, towards winning the forthcoming election, slated for the month of September.
He described Hon. Azeez as a man of integrity, therefore will not disappoint the party and his people.
Dignitaries who attended the special prayer were; Hon Sola Odetundun, Hon Muyiwa Oladipo and Irepodun APC Chairperson, Hon. Rashidat Kazeem.
Others are: Major Gen. Yemi Abidoye, Ward Chairmen , councillorship Aspirants in Irepodun LGA, Artisans, Stakeholders, Market Women among others.
