Kwara Community Celebrates Engr Nurudeen Adeyemi’s TETFUND Appointment With Thanksgiving Prayer

The Esie community in Irepodun Local Government, Kwara State, gathered for a thanksgiving prayer service to honor Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun’s appointment to the TETFUND Board.

The event, attended by family, friends, well-wishers, Islamic clerics, politicians, and community leaders, sought divine guidance and success for Adeyemi’s tenure.

They also prayed for the success of Governor AbdulRahman led administration during the thanksgiving prayer service held in Esie, Irepodun local Government , Kwara state on Tuesday.

Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, an aerospace engineer, who is an indigene of Esie, was appointed as a member of the board of TETFUND by President Bola Tinubu a few days ago.


The new TETFUND board members were inaugurated by the Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman  in Abuja last week Thursday.

Clerics, who attended the thanksgiving prayer service, asked God to grant Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun  a successful tenure while also praying that  Allah will  continue to protect and guide him.

The prayer service was officiated by the Chief Imam of Esie, Alhaji Muftau Yusuf.

Dignitaries at the event include Former Commissioner for Environment, Chief Segun Olawoyin, Former Commissioner for Information, Mr Ben Duntoye, Provost , Kwara State College of Education, Oro, Professor Mukaila Ayanda Aremu,  business tycoon , Alhaji  Mustapha Adeyemi Balogun, Elder Oyin Zubair, the Balogun of Offa, Alhaji Maruf Olaniyi Balogun,  Dr Shehu Ibrahim, Comrade Bisi Fakayode, Mr Azeez aka Advocate, and  Hon Kayode Ishola.



In his brief sermon, the Chief Imam of Agbele , Alhaji Muhammad Mustapha Ajanasi  emphasized the need for parents to attach importance to living ‘a life of impact’, doing good deeds always and leaving good legacies behind in order that their children can enjoy the favour of God, His mercies and blessings.

While paying tributes to the parents of the TETFUND Board member, Alhaji Muhammad Mustapha Ajanasi also specially remembered the life and legacy of Chief Nurudeen’s father submitting that the aerospace engineer is currently enjoying the reward of his good.
