
Hon. Comrade Jide Oyinloye, former Chairman of Irepodun Local Government’s Transition Implementation Committee (TIC), has been installed as the Madegun of Ikotun-Ile in Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The installation took place during the historic celebration of HRH Oba David Ajibola Omope’s (Ilufemiloye 1) 50 years on the throne and his 100th birthday.
Speaking during the ceremony, HRH Oba David Ajibola Omope said the prestigious title of Madegun was bestowed on Hon. Oyinloye in recognition of his contributions to the community.
Hon. Oyinloye, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Esther Folake Oyinloye (JP), expressed gratitude to the revered monarch and pledged to continue working tirelessly for the betterment of Ikotun-Ile and its people.
The event featured a rich cultural display, including the launching of a N50 Million Ultra-Modern Palace and the conferment of honorary chieftaincy titles on eminent personalities.
