A Service Provider at Balogun Fulani Primary Health Centre in Ilorin South, Mrs R. A Salami has stated that Family Planning acceptability rate in Kwara state has increased over the years.
Mrs Salami disclosed this on Wednesday when Kwara tv reporter visited the Family Planning Facility located at Primary Health Centre in Balogun Fulani, Ilorin.
She noted that both male and female are accessing different family planning methods to reduce Unwanted pregnancy among the couples
She explained that people are coming to access different methods of family planning, especially pills and injectables.
Salami attributed the high acceptability rate to increased awareness on family planning on radio, community engagement and education for users during post natal visit to the health centre.
She added that the high level of awareness about family planning in Kwara state is making a lot of people to embrace it.
Mrs salami added that Family planning is beneficial to the society and people.
Saying It will enable people to determine spacing and timing of child bearing.
She emphasized that family planning has health benefit to the women saying it will help them take care of the children and their health.
in a chat with one of the family planning user Mrs Rabiat Awolola said the service is satisfactory saying she don’t have any complain about using of family and it has been effective.
